Narayan Nagbali Puja is set of 2 different rituals: “Narayan Bali Puja” and “Nag Bali Puja” that performed mandatory together. Narayan Bali Puja is performed to set free the ancestors’ unsatisfied souls, while Nagbali Puja is performed to eliminate the sin of killing cobra or snake.

Narayan Bali Pooja

Narayan Bali Pujan is performed to fulfill the insatiable desires of the souls of the ancestors,
who may create a problem for the next generation. Narayana Bali helps the soul to meet the highest state of Moksha. Worship will bring relief to the soul of a dead person who has faced an extraordinary death.

In Narayan Bali puja, they make dummy artificial body of wheat flour. Pandit uses mantras for such a soul who is having various wishes to remain attached. Ritual gives them their own bodies, and funerals set them free in another world.
